HiDownload Analysis Links

To download mms/rtsp, you need to know the url(the file name and server address) of you want to download.

Unfortunately, some links to streaming audio and video that you come across on the web are hidden behind javascript or activex scripts. Because of this, it is sometimes very difficult to figure out the actual urls that correspond to the streams being played.

HiDownload's Analysis function provide a one-stop solution to finding the URLs for all streams. It does this by searching files and watching network traffic and identifying potential urls.

Also, you can find the flash animations links and download flash animations files.

NOTICE: the analysis function can not be used under PPP connection in WinXP computer.

How to startup the analysis function

after complete those steps, then you will find this red ballin the left down of main window, it show the analysis function startup.
OK! Now Go back to the browser and start the stream playing. Hopefully you will see the stream urls in the Results List, then select the URLs and download them.
If you want to stop analysis function, simply press the <Stop Analysis> button in the toolbar

HiDownload Zip Preview and Extract

HiDownload achieve a new feature - Zipped Files Preview and Extract, which allow you to save time and bandwidth downloading just the files you need.

Make sure you know which files are contained in the zipped file, without having to download it first
Selectively choose which of the contained files you actually wish to download

How to use HiDownload's Zip File Preview

While downloading a zip file, HiDownload provides you with the option to preview the file content by choosing the 'Start Zip Preview' option in the pull down menu.

Zip File Extract

From the contained files you may choose the specific files that you actually need and have them Extracted by downloading.

You may have choose several files by using the SHIFT/ CTRL keys.

Choose the 'Download' menu or just double click on the selected files.

when selected files are downloaded, they have a icon in the task list which distinguish from common downloaded files.

You can go to the zip file which contained this extracted file by selected the "Goto zip file" menu.
